Tonniece you inspire me!

I was looking again at Tonniece's blog a momen ago. I was fascinated by the tea bag folding she has been doing. The craft shop in Lower Largo, Fife had some tea bag folding paper and I wasn't sure what it was - now I know, thanks Tonniece. It just struck me as I was sitting here relaxing before I go teach class that I could print one side of fabric with one design and print the other side with something different. Would it work do you think? I have never done it before. I would need to use a tight weave cotton otherwise the colour would come through to the reverse.

I was looking for something different to do my Notan designs in fabric. This might work. I am out teaching this afternoon and this evening so my idea will have to wait. I will keep you posted on my results.

Have a great day!

Good morning Carol

I think that is a great idea. I've wondered myself if it would work.
I'll let you give it a go first, since you are the textile Queen.

Hopeing it does wk. because there are so many beautiful teabag designs available out there.

I can't wait to see your results.

Hi Suzanne,

She shouldn't hide her light under a bushel. As someone who can't draw to save her life I love seeing her drawings they are just wonderful.

Everything is easy when you know how. We learn from each other and that is a joy.

Tonniece,

Textile Queen - I think NOT! I love what I do and I love sharing ideas with others.

I haven't had a chance to try the printing to fabric. I need to get some more bubble jet set. There is a quilting exhibition at Ingliston, Edinburgh this coming weekend and The Man from Rio will be there and I can buy some from him. I will let you know how it goes.

Dianne,

I only say what I believe to be true. You are all so very talented and sharing. It's a joy to read your blogs and share ideas with you all.
