Beads, beads and more beads...........

Susan of Random Blethers wrote to me the other day telling me about a bead shop she had visited in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. She also mentioned they had a bigger shop in Haddington! Well you can guess where we went yesterday!

The gardener was planting up this area in the centre of the town. It will be gorgeous when the flowers are in full bloom. I must go back and see them. I could also pop into the bead shop again couldn't I?

This is a small (and I mean small) selection of the beads I brought home with me. Once I have a better idea of what I will be doing for the Beading Project 2007 Journal Quilts I will go back again for specific colours and shapes. It was a lovely shop very friendly and they had everything a bead artist could ever want or need.

Delicious! I just discovered a new bead shop near my place, and have made two visits in rapid succession. Well, I had to show friends exactly where it was, didn't I? At least the beads are easier to store than the fabrics!

Isn't the Bead Journal Project a great excuse to buy more beads. Sandy
