I have been busy working on some more designs. Fabric postcards are a great way to experiment since they are small and don't take up too much time. This is the course for my first postcard. It's one of the photographs I took way back when we visited the Glasgow River Festival.
Here's the result of the image after I played around with it in Paint Shop Pro.

I love this picture with the sun shining from the back you can see so much detail.
I didn't change it too much. There is just a hint of purple in the final image and I thought I would stitch the sating stitch border using purple thread to "lift" the hint of purple in the image. I was tempted to use green but I think I would have lost the purple had I chosen green.
its neat to see your before and after pics :-) I haven't "played" much on my computer programs for pics, but you're encouraging me to set aside some time....
