The Utee is so rich. Will you stitch over it to hold it down ( as if you were stitching something unstitchable like Shisha mirror or similar) or through it, as if it were paint? It really is a delicious "fragment".Nolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01162128807411147419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29037735.post-89778527933369100562007-07-16T12:49:00.000+01:002007-07-16T12:49:00.000+01:00It's lovely to have you back and I'm glad you had ...It's lovely to have you back and I'm glad you had a good break. I do believe you can buy clear UTEE but I haven't tried that - yet. I have glued it in place using bead glue and plan on adding some hand stitching to both secure it further and add some colour.

The darker turquoise are the accent beads the lighter green is the embossing powder. I sprinkled some embossing powder between the accent beads to bring the colours together.

Candi I am off to look at your blog. What sort of texture is the UTEE, could you paint it, or is it painted, and is it hard (like tyvek) or supple. Did you paint the background after your quilted it?
