LMT Green and Purple Challenge

I have been thinking about the Like Minded Thread online group challenge and decided I will make a doll. I only recently joined this lovely group of ladies so this will be my first challenge with them. Well I say "make" I had started this doll in an online class with Patti Medaris Culea but as happens sometimes life got in the way and I never did finish it - well it hardly got started really. However ..............

Last night I got it to this stage and will paint and dress it in green and purple which is the July colours for the LMT challenge. I have always loved these colours as they go so well together. I will post pictures as the doll progresses. Since I am a fairy lover I am thinking a glittery flowing dress - handkerchief kind. This will be the incentive to get her finished. I have some stitching to get her facial details done and then I can paint/dye her body and start thinking clothes and accessories. I saw Dianne Marcoux and her sisters fairy shoes - I wonder if I could make something similar? Doubt it. Now where are those beads.........
