I was thinking outside the box with this one. I used aluminium shim. It is temporarily glued to the background cotton. I just need to do some stitching and then I will make it into one of my Journal Quilts, I think. This one is a 4" design which will fit nicely to the JQ size. The previous design was a 5" square which was too big for a JQ.

Notan in Aluminium Shim
I was thinking outside the box with this one. I used aluminium shim. It is temporarily glued to the background cotton. I just need to do some stitching and then I will make it into one of my Journal Quilts, I think. This one is a 4" design which will fit nicely to the JQ size. The previous design was a 5" square which was too big for a JQ.
