Rogue Sunflower

I just had to take a photograph of this "rogue" sunflower growing in my front garden. I planted some marigolds earlier this year and lo and behold this sunflower grew right in the middle of them. Isn't it gorgeous? I think I might print it onto silk and do some machine embroidery, just for fun.

Well DH came home yesterday with a huge smile on his face. I guess the train must have run well. It didn't quite but he is one happy man. He has a couple of alterations to make to the valves and things should be fine. I am taking him to the dentist to have a tooth taken out!!! Poor guy he's putting a brave face on it.
