More Beautiful Inchies

I received these beautiful inchies the other day. They are from Maureen Curlewis in Australia as part of the inchies swap on the Textile Challenge Group. Each 1" square is a little work of art. I have kept the image quite large so that you can see the detail of Maureen's work. Wow! is all I can say.

The challenge for the month of June is fabric dyeing. Since we have to try something different I thought I would have another attempt at batik. I tried it last year without much success so hopefully I will have more success this time. We shall see!

They are pretty!

The next time I do Batik, I'm going to use soy wax.I think it irons out easier.

Great inchies. I am sure that someday soon I will break my resolution and have to start swapping inchies - I have so far resisted, but inchie envy is beginning to wear me down, I think!
