Well I found it. I have been working on this concertina book idea for weeks now. I finally completed it before my break and was going to post it to my blog yesterday but do you think I could find it. I had also been working on tags for the TextileChallenge group and I couldn't find these either.
I went out to the studio this morning to get a rather weighty textile design book and there underneath it was both my book and my tags. I remember now that I put them under there to get them to lie flat.
I have been working with photographs I took of the Clematis in my garden and was looking for a way to present the various images/designs I created in Paint Shop Pro. I could have stuck the photographs on paper but I have done that before and wanted something new and different. Although concertina books are not new this is a little different.
The whole book was designed on the computer and printed on my R1800 and there are no joins.
The front cover is printed on fabric and stitched.
The back cover is the background of the front cover without the Clematis image and it also free motion stitched.

It looks lovely your concertina book!! I love how you did this on the computer. I have tried printing on canvas then I used miracle fabric sheets, is that what you use?
Thanks for your comment in my blog about my little gardener who helps grandma in the garden :)

What a wonderful way to display your work Carol. The fact there are no joins certainly appeals to me. A great idea.
Another "safe" place that goes missing!!
Great book Carol. I love the images and a concertina book with no joins is certainly brilliant.
This is really lovely! I know what you mean about misplacing things. It really bothers you for a while then you just give up and find it a couple days later.

This is great. I love clematis to begin with and it makes a great subject for creating art.
I love your concertina book Carol. I must check out this R1800!
Very nice, Carol.
Really neat & beautiful! Love it.
Thank you ladies. It was fun and something I will use again to display my work. It's good when something works out.
This is wonderful Carol, love the idea of being able to print out such a long length.
OK what is an R1800
The colours are so subtle - just lovely, and I love all the free stitching. An R1800 is a printer isn't it Carol - 'cos you printed all in one length you say! OK how does it work.... Val
This is gorgeous Carol - such a good idea. Love the colours, pictures and stitching. Yummy!
The book is wonderful. I'm almost through with clearing up stuff from the trip and can hardly wait to try one. Sandy
Your comment about not knowing WHERE you "hid' your gorgeous book sounded so familiar!
Is it a "Cancer" thing do you think??
Carol the covers are top knotch....I envy you your talent.
You are such a clever, talented lady - I really love this!
Great book Carol, LOVE it
