The island is home to many birds. This little duck was fishing. We saw him catch a fish and this was him searching for more.
This is a racing pigeon who has lost his way. If the people on the island can catch them they then return them to their owners. However they tell me there are many racing pigeons who have made their home on the island. This little fellow didn't mind having his picture taken. I was surprised to to able to get so close to him. I am not sure if you can see the beautiful purple coloured feathers on his chest.
