It's finished

First of all thanks to those of you who gave me feedback on my little quilt. I did a little more work on it this morning. I stitched the shim piece to the backing using free motion stitching with a purple thread. I bound it with a hanf dyed purple cotton which I think bring the whole thing together. I am quite pleased with it. I had fun making it and didn't have enough time to agonize over it I just did it. I am looking forward to next months challenge. In the meantime I have a book to put the finishing touches to.

Thank you, Carol, for taking us through the making of this lovely quilt piece. It was intriguing to see the process with the details and all the items put together. I don't think I'll ever learn to sew/quilt/felt/dye ... but I get to experience it through your postings. Once again, thank you :)
