I am not sure these pictures do my altered tags justice but here they are anyway. The challenge for August on Carol's TextileChallenge Group was altered tags. I was thinking of a way to display them and decided this "tree" might be a good idea.
Each tag has a different technique/colour on either side. I tried a few different things whilst working on other projects. They are great to test out new ideas and new media. I particularly like the procion dyed velvet and another one which is hand dyed embossed velvet.

Carol they look gorgeous - I love the tree idea to display them. Which is the dyed velvet and embossed velvet? Could you take a picture of them all lined up - so we can see them individually? Val
I came here through bloglines to tell you how lovely your book turned out, and there is another post with beautiful tags. Both are wonderful.
The tags look like they were lots of fun. The tree shows all of them off. Sandy
I see that you use punchinella in many projects. what is that exactly and where do you purchase it?
I love these tags carol, and the way you have displayed them. Fab, you have been a busy bee!
What a brilliant idea your tree is, and the tags are a great way to try different techniques.
