Additions to my library

These are a few of the new books I have added to my library over the past few weeks. I am enjoying each of them. Piping Hot Curves is the ones I have been using these past few days. I am just sitting relaxing and reading through them at the moment. I can't get motivated to go into the studio at the moment.
We had to have our little cat put to sleep this morning. She was happy enough yesterday, helping me in the studio as usual keeping an eye on me. Since our other Siamese cat passed away two years ago she has never left my side. In the early hours of this morning she had a really bad turn. She was 17 years old and had a wonderful life. What a character she was. I shall miss her.

I need to get things ready for classes starting again on Monday -maybe I will do that tomorrow.

It seems the mail service is back on track. I have a few things to mail to friends but thought it best to wait until the post office cleared the backlog. If I promised to send you something it will be in the mail this coming week.

So sorry about your cat Carol: they really are members of the family. I lost one of my four to a heart attack last week so I know how it feels. It is some consolation to know they had happy lives though. She was a beauty!

Carol, I'm so sorry about your cat. We get so attached to our furry friends. They are such good companions.
The books look good. I have some and will look at the others. Sandy

I'm sad about your having to put your kitty to rest. She's with her playmate now. She's had a long life.

My sympathy to you, it's so hard to lose an old friend.
Siamese have a way of capturing your heart don't you think, I had two gorgeous girls for 16 years and I still miss them.

My sympathies also---we have a "watch" on for one of our boys......It must be the time of the year for certain feline friends; i've seen many kitty obits this past week....

The Hot Textiles book is FABulous, by the way.

So sorry about your cat. It's hard to let them go, even when you know they have had a good life. They creep into our hearts.
