We started our trip in Chicago (the quilt show was wonderful) then on to Middlebury to see the Amish community - Amish apple butter and Amish peanut butter is fantastic and I brought some home with me!! We then went to Toledo - Norman was in seventh heaven at the Model Engineering show and I enjoyed it too. We then drove (Norman did!) to Paducah to the quilt show and spent a few days exploring the surrounding area - we had a fabulous time.
Whilst I was away Gail of Expression Studio has given me an award, thank you Gail.
Arte Y Pico is at:
There are 5 rules attached to this:
1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and that also contribute to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her/him the award itself.
4. The Award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte Y Pico" blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5. To show these rules.
It is always difficult picking blogs for awards and many have probably already received it but here are mine:
Lynda
Shirley
Susan
Arlee
Sandy
My tutor emailed me whilst I was away to say she had signed off my Module 4 work - I heaved a sigh of relief I can tell you. I can't wait to get it back now.
Now I must go and reload the washing machine - I have a mountain to do which is easy enough but I dread all the ironing! My treat will be to try out my new toys!
I hope to get back to regular blogging again now.
