Well no not the quilt BUT as I was reading through the latest edition of Quilting Arts magazine yesterday I saw an advert for the new about to be released book on Journal Quilts. Creative Quilting: The Journal Quilt Project by Karey Brasenhan. I was amazed (read shocked) when one of my journal quilts was chosen for the book. I sent it off to Quilting Arts to have it photographed and it is home again - it's a well travelled little quilt! Imagine my complete surprise when I saw it on the front cover of the new book! There are a few others there as well on the cover but mine is right there large as life! Wow! I can't believe it - how cool is that?
You can see the book here:

There are 400 little journal quilts in the book chosen from 6,000!!!!!!! So you can imagine my delight in having one of mine chosen. This is only my 3rd year of making them and it has been a wonderful journey. Next year is the last year of the project and it's going to be a little different I understand, can't wait to see what Karey has chosen to challenge us with.

Hi Sandy and Tonniece,
Thank you so much for your kind words. I couldn't stop smiling when I saw my little quilt on the front cover.
Have a great day!
